Sitting here thinking
as I fly through the air
comes to my mind, the eagle
flying high, seemingly without fear
The eagle is God’s example
of how we should really be
not just being average
but above mediocrity
he always soars so high
yet sees a rodent at a glance
we should have his vision
to see beyond our circumstance
For each one of our lives
our God has His plan
that we all soar as eagles
setting an example
for our fellow man
